Joe Acabá
Joseph Michael Acaba is NASA's first astronaut of
Puerto Rican heritage. He is also a teacher, hydro
geologist, and flew into space aboard the Space
Shuttle Discovery on mission number STS-119, which
was launched on March 15, 2009 to deliver the final
set of solar arrays to the International Space
Station.
